Curriculum
Bible stories and thoughts are an important part of each day. The children learn that God made our world and cares for us.
Each day children spend at least one hour or more in free play in the classroom, playroom, or playground. This gives the children time to socialize and interact with each other.
A snack is provided each day.
The classes have a theme each month around which art activities, stories, and other learning experiences are planned.
Thirty minutes each week is spent in music, where the children do a variety of activities involving singing, rhythm instruments, Bible songs, action movement and fingerplays.
Our 4-year-old program includes "Let's Begin With THE LETTERPEOPLE," which is an alpha program designed especialy for preschoolers. The content of the program reaches across all subject areas, including the alphabet, science, health and safety, art, numbers, and music.
Computer Pals are also a part of the 4-year-old curriculum. Twice a month, the children attend computer classes that teach proper beginning computer skills in a fun way. Cost for Computer Pals is included in the tuition fee.
Special events include a Christmas program presented by the 3- and 4-year-olds, and a graduation for the 4-year-olds each spring.
