Our Facilities
First Baptist Church is located on South Gaston Street between Morgan and Jordan Streets in downtown Brevard, N.C.
Parking is available in two lots, located across from the sanctuary and at the corner of Gaston and Jordan Streets. An alleyway behind the church offers a shelter for drop-offs convenient to the santuary and fellowship buildings.
The sanctuary building can seat 500 people. A handicap-accessible ramp is located to the right of the main entrance. The "Higher Ground" youth activity and worship center is located downstairs in the sanctuary building.
The church office and educational building is located at the corner of Gaston and Jordan Streets. W.E.E. School facilites are located on the first floor, as well as the nursery and Children's Church rooms. The church office, conference room, and media center are located on the second floor of this building.
The education and fellowship building houses classrooms and the W. Scott Merrill fellowship hall. The church parlor and choir room are located on the first floor. An elevator offers access to the upper floors of both educational buildings. Located on the second floor, the fellowship hall has a full kitchen and sound system, and can seat up to 250 at tables or 500 auditorium-style. The room can also be used for basketball games and other recreation events.
